Peter Mertens is the Manager of Sales Readiness at Sprout Social, a social media management software company. He’s responsible for Sprout’s sales content strategy, including development, distribution, training and upkeep of all customer-facing assets. In addition to his sales content work, he also started and leads Sprout’s competitive intelligence program. He works closely with sales leadership, customer success, enablement, product marketing and demand generation to ensure Sprout’s sales teams have what they need with market intelligence and content to succeed.
Prior to Sprout, Peter worked at an agency where he handled public relations for clients such as Oracle, SAP, Intel, Zebra Technologies, Fitbit and Logitech.
